1) Virat Kohli – 14 Ducks

2) Sourav Ganguly – 13 Ducks 

Sourav Ganguly is one of the best captains in the world in second place on this list. Under his leadership, the Indian team reached the final of the 2003 World Cup but was disappointed.

In terms of statistics, he has played a total of 198 matches as captain, in which he has been dismissed for 13 runs.

3) Mahendra Singh Dhoni – 11 Ducks 

Under the leadership of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the Indian team rose to number one for the first time. Besides, the Indian team won all the ICC trophies under his leadership.

In terms of statistics, he has played a total of 332 matches as captain, in which he has been dismissed for 11 runs.

4) Kapil Dev – 10 Ducks

The first World Cup-winning Indian captain Kapil Dev is in fourth place in this list. He is one of the best all-rounders of all time.

In his international cricket career, he has scored more than 9,000 runs, including 9 centuries. In terms of statistics, he has played a total of 106 matches as a captain, in which he has been dismissed for 10 runs.

5) Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi – 6 Ducks

At the age of only 21 years, Mansur Ali Khan was elected captain of the Indian team. He played for the national team in a total of 48 Tests from 1981 to 1985, of which he captained the team in 40 matches.

This time he returned to the pavilion without opening the run record a total of 6 times with the bat.
