AMD Ryzen 5000 Processor Model Line and Price 

As part of the official presentation, AMD unveiled the new Ryzen 5000 model line, which is based on the luminometer architecture Zen 3. AMD said at the presentation that users expect an increase in the number of instructions per cycle by 19 percent. Cache bugs and improved energy efficiency have also been fixed.

The new processors will be compatible with older 500 Series motherboards after the BIOS update, and support for 400 Series motherboards is expected later. According to the company, the Ryzen 9 5900X performs better in games than the Intel Core i9-10900K, and an increase over last year’s Ryzen 9 3900XT was 26 percent.

The Ryzen 9 5900X received 16 physical cores and 32 virtual streams, up to 4.9 GHz and 72 MB of cache, and is priced at $799.

Ryzen 9 5900X with 12 physical cores and 24 virtual streams, as well as a frequency of up to 4.8 GHz and 70 MB of cache, the price is set at $549.

Ryzen 7 5800X received 8 physical and 16 virtual cores, frequency up to 4.7 GHz, and 36 MB of cache, the price is $499. All three processors have a TDP of 105W.

The company also introduced the Ryzen 5 5600X with 6 physical cores and 12 virtual streams, which received a frequency of up to 4.6 GHz, the cache size is 35 MB. The TDP is 65W, the price is $299.

All four processors will be released on November 5, and next year will present 5-nanometer AMD Zen 4 processors.
