Match Preview:

In the midst of the deadly corona, two more international series were held in Bangladesh, but this year’s Australia series is completely different. Strict measures have been taken in the rules and regulations of the field starting from the quarantine of the players. The new rules centered on the five-match T20 series are quite surprising. If a ball hitting a six in a match falls into the gallery, it will no longer be used.

The umpires usually change the ball when it is old. Or even if the ball is lost, a new quality ball is given as new. However, there is no precedent in cricket for changing the ball when it is worn in the gallery. That is the Bangladesh-Australia series.

The five-match T20 series starts on Tuesday (August 3). Spectators are not allowed to enter any match of the series starting from 6 pm. Even the movement of journalists has been controlled. The field workers who are staying in the gallery are also in the bio-protection environment.

Even in such an environment, if the batsmen of the two teams hit the ball in the gallery, they will not play with it. Another ball of near quality will be given instead. In that case, the ball may change frequently.

According to a BCB source, the decision was taken in compliance with the bio-bubble protocol in the Corona situation. If the ball goes to the gallery, it will not be allowed to play even if it is sanitized. In that case, another new ball of nearby quality will be given.

However, the ball of one match going to the gallery can be used in another match. In that case, also the ball will be well sanitized and prepared. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has accepted Australia’s demand as an extra precaution in the Corona situation.
