Match Preview

In the second match of the series, Bangladesh defeated visiting Sri Lanka by a huge margin of 103 runs. With one ODI left in the three-match series, Sri Lanka lost the series. Kushal Perera, the captain of the team, was very disappointed with the defeat of the team. He hopes that Sri Lanka will avoid whitewash by winning the last match.

After losing the second match of the series, Perera said that the team was losing the match due to the lack of experience of the players. He also called on the batsmen to be more responsible.

Kushal Perera said, ‘Being a member of the losing team is always frustrating. The lack of experience of the team players has made us suffer a lot. Our middle order did not do well in both matches. We have to sit down with the batsmen of the team and talk about it.

Perera advised the players to increase their confidence in this situation. He also called upon the players of the team to give their best by overcoming their fears.  “The players have to believe in their own strength,” Pereira said. They have to play fearless cricket believing in themselves.

Bangladesh also got an easy win against Sri Lanka in the second match of the three-match ODI series. With this victory, the Tigers rose to the top of the points table of the ICC ODI Super League and made a new history.

Bangladesh lost to Sri Lanka by 103 runs in a rain-affected match. Tamim and Mushfiqur topped England, Pakistan, and Australia with 50 points. Despite such success, Bangladesh captain Tamim Iqbal is not satisfied.

At the end of the match, Tamim said, ‘I feel lucky to have won two matches. We haven’t been able to play the full game yet. We lost a lot of wickets in the middle overs and it was difficult to make 200. But Mahmudullah and Mushi (Mushfiqur Rahim) played very well. We got respectable capital. But I think our bowling is something special. ‘
