Match Preview:

Bangladesh will now face Zimbabwe in the second One-Day International. Zimbabwe lost the test series at home and now it appears as though they will also lose the one-day international series. Concerning the win probability for Zimbabwe in the second ODI is just 20 percent which means Bangladesh has an 80 percent of probability to win the match.

Talking about the first ODI, Zimbabwe won the toss and elected to bat first in the opening One-Day International at the Harare Sports Club. Bangladesh lost their first wicket at 0 as their skipper went for a duck. Bangladesh continues to lose wickets, as Shakib and Mithun both failed to contribute meaningful runs to the team. Liton Das was the lone batsman who led the team from the front against the Zimbabwe Bowlers.

Liton Das was named man of the match for his brilliant knock. On 114 balls, he scores 102 runs. Asif Hossain contributed some runs as well, and Bangladesh was eventually able to set a manageable target of 279 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 50 overs.
