Casio has released a new watch from the G-Shock series, and the device is a dazzling mix of digital and analog components. The new Casio GBA900 comes with a variety of features that make it a versatile workout and health companion.
With the Bluetooth connection on the device, you can quickly transfer your workout progress to the smartwatch using the G-Shock Move app. In the meantime, let’s just say that the G-Shock Move application is compatible with Android and iOS devices.
The app can view the steps followed by the watch, running distance, and other performance metrics. The watch has built-in sensors that monitor several aspects of a user’s fitness regime. The GBA900 retains the classic Casio G Shock look but has a slim 16.6mm case. It features a large 51.3 × 48.9mm clock face with an analog dial above the LCD interface for performance tracking, mostly running data. These include speed, running distance, calories expended, and pace. There is a daily step tracker and adjustable multi-timer on the LCD.

The device carries a $130 price tag as it is a low-priced fitness watch that is available for pre-order from May 13th, 2021 while it will be released on 19th May 2021 in the markets. The Casio GBA900 sports watch is sold without some basic functions that are the hallmark of smart wearables as there are no blood-oxygen or heart rate sensors.
