Dell has introduced the first mini-LED monitor on the market

If you’ve been following Apple’s news in recent months, you probably know that the company plans to start using mini-LED displays in some of its devices later this year. However, the company was ahead of Dell, releasing the first mini-LED monitor called Dell UltraSharp 32 HDR PremierColor.

According to the company, this is the world’s first monitor with a mini-LED backlight, divided into 2,000 zones. With 99.8 percent DCI-P3 color coverage and 93 percent Adobe RGB coverage, as well as support for the HDR 1000 standard, the 4K IPS UP3221Q panel should delight any professional.

The display matrix is ​​equipped with 2000 tiny mini-LEDs, providing a typical contrast level of 1,000,000: 1 in HDR mode or 1300: 1 in SDR mode. The equipment also includes one DisplayPort 1.4 connector, two HDMI 2.0, one Thunderbolt 3 port, and two USB 3.2.

In addition, UP3221Q has received a picture-by-picture mode, which allows you to connect two computers to the monitor and display content from both at the same time. For the monitor, the company also promises quality calibration from the factory.
