DJI Pocket 2, a Mini Pocket Camera
DJI has officially introduced the second generation of its mini-camera. Recall that the first generation was called “Dji Osmo Pocket”, and the second – just ” DJI Pocket 2″, without the index “Osmo”.
Despite the fact that the camera is really incredibly compact and light (it weighs only 117 grams), it has a larger sensor and lens with a larger angle than was the case with the first generation. The company said that this made the shooting quality much better.

Now there are a sensor 1 / 1.7 inches (in the previous generation, we recall, was 1 / 2.3 inches), the focal length is 20 millimeters, the aperture – f / 1.8. Standard mode allows you to take pictures with a resolution of 16 MP, and in high-resolution mode, you can shoot at 64 MP. Video is available as up to 4K 60 fps 100 Mbps. There is now support for HDR and digital zoom without compromising quality (8X in high definition mode and 4X in standard shooting mode).
Improved focusing system, now supports Hybrid 2.0. The manufacturer has also significantly improved the audio system by adding 4 microphones, as well as Soundtrack, Audio Zoom, and Directional Audio.
DJI Pocket 2 has optical stabilization on three axes and the ability to shoot in panoramic mode. It is also possible to broadcast live and turn on the device instantly thanks to the Fast Wake function. DJI Pocket 2 will be available in basic and advanced configurations.
Along with the camera, a set consisting of a charging case, a wireless microphone, a waterproof case, a compact control wheel, an extension, a wide-angle lens mount, a wireless module, and a smartphone support system was also presented. All functions are controlled through the free DJI Mimo application, which is available for owners of devices with Android and iOS operating systems.

DJI Pocket 2 is available at a price of $349 with Mini Control Stick and tripod mount, and DJI Pocket 2 Creator Combo costs $499 with Mini Control Stick, tripod mount, wide-angle, wireless microphone with wind protection, unique holder, and a small tripod.
