Facebook Climate Science Information Center
The American company Facebook has announced the creation of a special information center Climate Science Information Center, which provides users with up-to-date and reliable data on climate change in the world. The center will operate in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany.
According to Facebook representatives, the center is designed to provide users of the platform with up-to-date climate information. By visiting the information center, users will also learn what they can do to combat climate change.
The Information Center will include the following organizations: the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP).
The new center is modeled on the company’s COVID-19 Information Center, which opened earlier this year. Facebook also plans to reach “pure zero” emissions by 2030.
