The headquarter of Geo Super is in Karachi and the United Aram Emirates, owned by Geo TV. Geo TV owns Geo Super and has sister channels such as Geo News, Geo Kahani, Geo Tez, and Geo Entertainment.
This Sports channel is based on encryption, which means it is only available in Pakistan; using Conax encryption with KAON, Geo Super is free to watch within Pakistan via cable operators or the Web. In 2014 various cable operators boycotted the Geo Super Sports channels due to a blasphemy act on the morning show of the Geo TV network. Still, after some period, they start broadcasting it again.
Back in 2011, Geo Super was banned due to a dispute and an illegal stream of the tournament without purchasing the broadcasting rights. Still, within two months, the TV channel resolved the issue, and the ban was up-lifted to telecast the sports again.
