Halo Infinite Premiere Postponed to 2021
Halo Infinite was supposed to be one of the games that will drive the sales of the Xbox X Series. However, the manufacturer announced that the Halo Infinite game’s premiere will be postponed to 2021. Will fans of the console from Microsoft have any interesting titles to play at the premiere of the device?
Everything indicates that the Xbox Series X may have a very tough start. The premiere of the next-generation console from Microsoft is approaching, and there are no big titles. Interestingly, a Polish studio that produces games may benefit from the Microsoft crisis.
Good Bad Beginnings, or Xbox Games Showcase
In July, Microsoft held a video conference presenting the games that Xbox fans will be playing on the occasion of the premiere of the next-generation console. Even then, you could hear fans complaining that Sony’s biggest competitor did not show its full potential. A lot of controversies arose on the occasion of the presentation of the long-awaited continuation of the Halo series.
The flagship title of Xbox was to return to the Xbox Series X with the latest part of Infinite at the premiere of the console in November. All signs in heaven and earth, however, indicate that the premiere will be postponed to an unspecified month in 2021.
Halo Infinite shifted. The reason for the coronavirus
In the official statement published on the game’s Twitter profile, we read that the delay is related to the coronavirus pandemic. Due to the obligation to work remotely, work on the game suffered significant delays and the product will not be ready for the premiere of the console. This means that the Xbox Series X will not have a single AAA title exclusively when it comes to the market. This is a huge blow for all console lovers from Microsoft.
Xbox has always fared worse in terms of “exclusives” than PlayStation. This does not mean, however, that the Microsoft console lacks top-class games. However, the problem is the timeliness in their creation. At the moment, it does not look like players will have a chance to play any exclusive position on the day of the new console’s release. There is still waiting, and there is something for.
The above-mentioned Halo Infinite, the new Forza, and Gears of War are in production and these titles will surely keep the most loyal fans when choosing a new console. A large part of players, however, may turn to the Japanese console from Sony, which has a huge base of exclusive productions and will probably have temporary exclusivity for some games that will also be available on Xbox.
Poles will benefit from the crisis
Interestingly, the “gaming” crisis in Xbox can be used by the Polish studio, which is slowly gaining popularity in the gaming industry. Of course, I am talking about the Bloober Team studio, whose game Medium will be temporarily exclusive to Xbox Series X consoles and computers with Windows 10. This is certainly not something that will make players from all over the world jump for joy, but for our native studies is a great opportunity for development.
