Huawei Y9a Smartphone Announced
Today, Huawei announced the Y9a smartphone an improved and global version of Huawei Enjoy 20 Plus. The smartphone differs from the Chinese version by a number of hardware modifications in the display, processor, and main camera module.
Huawei Y9a is equipped with a 6.63-inch FHD + LCD panel with a screen to body ratio of 92%, without any holes. The 16-megapixel selfie camera of the phone is located in the pop-up module. The main camera Y9a is represented by four sensors with a resolution of 64, 8 (wide angle), 2 (macro lens), and 2 MP (depth sensor).
The device will come with MediaTek Helio G80 in combination with 6 or 8 GB of RAM in various configurations and an expandable storage capacity of 128 GB. The novelty works under the control of the proprietary shell EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10. The phone also received all the necessary sensors, such as a gyroscope, compass, ambient light sensor, and a side sensor for reading fingerprints.
In terms of connectivity and ports, the smartphone supports 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, equipped with a headphone jack and USB Type-C. The device also received a 4200 mAh battery with support for fast charging with a capacity of 40 watts for markets in the Middle East, Africa, and some Central Asian countries. In other regions, it will be equipped with a 4200mAh battery and will only support fast charging with a capacity of 22.5 watts.
The size of the Y9a is 163.5 × 76.5 × 8.95 mm, and the weight is 197 g. The price and start date of sales will be announced by the manufacturer later.
