Huawei plans to release a new budget smartphone Y9A, which will differ from the company’s lineup in design, as the back will resemble the flagship Huawei Mate 30, and the front will be completely frameless. Gizchina has published a Huawei banner advertising the design of the smartphone.
Huawei Y9A is equipped with a main quad-camera, which includes sensors of 64 MP, 8 MP, 2 MP, and 2 MP. The smartphone will run on the mid-range Kirin 820 chipset, but there is information that the company may release a model on the MediaTek Dimensity 800 series. Paired with the chipset should be 8 GB of RAM, and internal memory will be 128 GB. The size of the battery is currently unknown, but it is known that the smartphone will support the flagship fast-charging power of 40W.
Huawei Y9A should get an IPS display, as evidenced by a fingerprint scanner located on the side. As you can see, there are no cutouts on the display, which indicates a retractable front camera, the parameters of which are still unknown. There is no exact date of the announcement of Huawei Y9A, but advertising materials say that it should be presented soon.
