Indian cricketer commits suicide by not getting a chance in IPL 2020

Karan Tiwary, a young Indian Cricketer from the Mumbai club commits suicide. He was frustrated by not getting a chance in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League IPL 2020. Karan Tiwary the young cricketer committed suicide out of that frustration.

He was nicknamed the ‘Junior Stein’ in club cricket on the shores of the Arabian Sea because of his similarity to the bowling action of the legendary South African pacer Dale Steyn. However, he could not find a platform to match his talent anywhere.

Although he hoped, he did not get a call in any team in IPL this time. The 26-year-old pacer decided to end his life from that pain. He never played in the Mumbai senior team. However, he used to bowl to Mumbai batsmen in the nets for many years.

He committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan at his home in Malad, Mumbai, on Monday (August 10th) night. Although no suicide note was found. Karan lived with his mother and brother in that house.

Police said Karan told a friend in Rajasthan on Monday night about the lack of opportunities. He spoke of frustration. He also said that he was mentally broken. That friend immediately informed Karan’s sister. That sister’s house is also in Rajasthan. The sister then informed Karan’s mother. But, by then it is too late. After eating and drinking on Monday night, Karan entered his room and closed the door. The young cricketer committed suicide after that.
