LG introduced the StanbyME Go 27LX5 portable display built into a suitcase. This is a unique solution on the market that will allow users to take such a tablet on vacation or outdoors to watch videos, movies, or play games.
The LG StanbyME Go will go on sale on July 7 for $885. As for technical characteristics, the device received a display with a resolution of 1080p and support for Dolby Vision. Its screen can be turned in any direction, tilted, or adjusted in height. Can also be used as a desktop panel.
LG StanbyME Go has speakers that support Dolby Atmos and adapt to the angle of the display. The device runs LG WebOS, the same one used in the company’s TVs. It also allows you to broadcast content from devices on different operating systems.
The display also has an HDMI port to connect an internet cable. The company says that the screen is not afraid of high temperatures, vibrations, low pressure, shocks, and drops. It also withstands salt spray. And the built-in battery will allow the display to work without recharging for up to 3 hours.
