Naseem Shah Dropped Out of PSL 2021 For Breaking Protocols
Quetta Gladiators pacer Nasim Shah will miss the rest of the 6th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 6). Naseem Shah broke the protocol of PSL and dropped out of PSL 2021.
All cricketers going to play the rest of the PSL were asked to submit a report with negative results of the Corona Test before heading to Abu Dhabi. However, the rule was that the report could not come before 48 hours.
Nasim Shah submitted his report on May 16 to go to play PSL. After that, he was kept in isolation. On the advice of a three-member independent medical advisory committee for the PSL, it was decided to remove him from isolation and not allow him to play in the PSL.
In this regard, PSL Commercial Officer Babar Hamid said, ‘PCB is proud to remove the young fast bowler from the event. However, if we do not comply with this protocol, we will endanger the entire tournament.
He added, “We are happy that Quetta Gladiators have accepted our decision. We want to make sure we all follow strict rules.
