Sorry to those leaving Netflix, but the June 2023 schedule is very enticing. It's the return of many TV series and the release of several incredible films.

May 2023 has been a very busy month on Netflix. It started well with the posting of the spin-off of The Chronicle of the Bridgertons on the youthful years of Queen Charlotte. Then things were chained together with The Mother and Black Knight. 

These tantalizing programs have not been lacking in entertainment. And speaking of entertainment, things are set to continue in June 2023 with the return of your favorite Witcher and the great Tyler Rake, angrier than ever. Here are the best TV Series and Movies you can’t miss on Netflix in June 2023.

The New Series Coming to Netflix in June 2023

1) The Witcher Season 3 (Volume 1)

Despite the criticism and the departure of Henry Cavill, The Witcher is back for a new season. The sequel to Geralt of Rivia’s adventures with Ciri. After this season, Liam Hemsworth will take the lead role.

In this new season, the mission becomes more and more difficult for the great witcher. Geralt of Rivia must redouble his efforts and ingenuity to protect Princess Ciri as they head toward Aretuza. Black magic, political corruption, betrayal, everything will rekindle and prolong the flame.

2) Black Mirror Season 6

Four years after Season 5, Black Mirror is back for Season 6. It will have 5 episodes featuring some Breaking Bad and Top Gun Maverick stars. As you know, the different episodes of the series are never linked by plot. But in turn, they explore the drifts of the technological inventions of our time. 

In the past, many of their predictions have already come true in real life. Therefore, we expect to see new themes that are still unknown for now. Nevertheless, Netflix has confirmed that there will be no question of artificial intelligence, which has been causing a lot of ink and saliva to flow for a while.

3) Outlander Season 7

After a colorful season 6, season 7 is almost here, and emotions should not be missing. This is only the penultimate since season 8 is already confirmed. Claire and Jamie are clearly not done with the problems in this new season. 

Wrongly accused of the murder of her apprentice, she is sentenced to death by hanging. The rope is already around her neck when her family saves her at the last minute. As misfortune never comes alone, it didn’t take long for our two heroes to be embroiled in the American Revolution.

4) Rick and Morty Season 6

The unlikely duo is back on Netflix. Already broadcast on Adult Swin in the USA, season 6 arrives in June on Netflix. According to the words of the first viewers, this new season is unmissable. 

The Smiths are stuck in space because of the end of season 6. Morty is trapped and must be saved by Rick. But the latter is not the most useful tool in the kit, with Justin Roiland, Spencer Grammer, and Sarah Chalke. Directed by: Anne Lane. Available June 10, 2023, on Netflix.

New Movies Coming to Netflix in June 2023

1) Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of Harley Quinn

American Superhero Movie Released in theaters in February 2020, this action-adventure film centers around one of the most exciting heroines in history.

Harley Quinn is no longer under Joker’s orders. From now on, she only wants to live as she sees fit. But she will quickly realizes that several people want her, and only Joker prevents them from approaching her. There is especially Roman, the manager of a club in Gotham City, who stops at nothing (or almost).

2) Tyler Rake 2

Angrier than ever, Tyler Rake is back. As we can see at the end of the first film, the mercenary did not succumb to his fall into the river which passes under the bridge. He survived well and is back for a new mission. He must free the family members of a Georgian gangster. With: Chris Hemsworth, Golshifteh Farahani, Tornike Gogrichiani. Directed by: Joe Russo. Available June 16, 2023, on Netflix. 

3) Nimona

One of the 9 animated films coming soon to the streaming platform, Nimona is the adaptation of ND Stevenson’s hit comic. It depicts a knight wrongly accused of a terrible crime. To save his skin, he calls on the young Nimona. But the knight must be careful: Nimona is a shapeshifter and could be the monster he seeks to kill.

4) Weeds

The film tells the incredible story of Waël, from the street to the miracle. He was taken in by Monique, an old retired woman who loves him very much. The young man commits small scams with her that help them live. But this life changes overnight when Waël finds a job in a center for children excluded from the school system. With: Kheiron, Catherine Deneuve, André Dussollier. Directed by: Kheiron. Available June 21, 2023, on Netflix.
