Former Finance Minister Asad Umar had earlier expressed his support for the cause, coordinating efforts to bring PayPal’s services to Pakistan.

This accomplishment is a huge step forward, gratifying the aspirations of many who have been eagerly expecting PayPal’s admission into the country’s finances.

The government would launch a project to construct 10,000 countrywide E-Rozgar centers equipped with cutting-edge technology to assist freelancers and start-ups beginning January 11.

This project was intended to address the existing problem faced by around 1.5 million freelancers who lack acceptable workspaces, he stated in an interview with a private news program.
