PCB Hires Restrata Bio-Secure Bubble for PSL 2021
The rest of the 6th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2021) could not be started even after setting dates. However, the rest of the PSL is going to start on Wednesday (June 9), putting an end to all speculations. Restrata the same company that manages IPL 2020 in UAE will be in charge of controlling the bio-secure bubble for the PSL 2021 starting in the UAE.
The rest of the PSL will eventually be held on the ground in the United Arab Emirates as Pakistan’s Corona epidemic is fragile. Once the venue for the tournament is decided, the biggest challenge for the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is to finish the rest safely.
Restrata, a UK-based company, is responsible for the bio-bubble to safely finish the rest of the PSL. In 2020, the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) was held in the United Arab Emirates. At that time the English company was working on the maintenance of the bio bubble.
This time the restaurateur took refuge in the PCB. Wasim Khan, chief executive officer of the PCB, told the media, “Currently, there is an epidemic all over the world. We have to work to keep cricket safe. So the restraint has been given the responsibility. We are trying our best to keep the bio-bubble right. We want to keep everyone safe.
According to the schedule, the 6th edition of PSL will be screened through the final on the 24th of this month. After that, Pakistan players will go directly to England and West Indies tour.
