Pakistan Cricket Board launched the franchise Twenty20 cricket tournament league in 2015 that is usually held in Feb-March every year. Pakistan Super League (PSL) is the twenty20 league organized by PCB in 2015. The first three seasons of the tournament were played in the United Arab Emirates while the further editions were entirely played in Pakistan. The last edition of the tournament was postponed due to Covid-19 but was later on rescheduled.

The tournament format is Double Round Robin and Playoffs as a total of six teams take part in the event. Around 30 group matches and four knock-out matches played (two qualifiers, one eliminator, and the final) are played to decide the champions.

For the 2022 edition of the tournament, PCB took security steps and Covid-19 protocols mandatory so that the tournament would play smoothly. The seventh edition of the tournament is scheduled to commence on January 27th till February 27th, 2022.

A Sports HD, Ten Sports Pakistan, and PTV Sports to broadcast live coverage of PSL 2022 in Pakistan; ICC tv and Tapmad secure the OTT rights to live stream HBL PSL 7 T20 matches in Australia, Europe, South East Asia, and the rest of the world.

Sony Ten 1 and Sony Ten 3 HD to broadcast live coverage of PSL 2022 (Pakistan Super League 7) in India and its subcontinent (Bhutan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Maldives, Burma) countries; all matches will be live-streamed on digital platform SonyLiv (Website, App).

Sony Pictures Network India (SPNI) bagged the official broadcasting rights from Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for consecutive three years till 2022. This is for the first time that all Sony Network Channels in India to broadcast HBL PSL 2022 season 7 matches in India & subcontinent in Hindi, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, and English Commentary; the matches will be telecast live on Sony Ten 1, Sony Ten 1 HD, Sony Ten 2, Sony Ten 2 HD, Sony Ten 3, and Sony Ten 3 HD.

A Sports HD is the new Sports TV Channel owned by ARY Networks that bagged the deal with Pakistan Cricket Board and International Cricket Council for all upcoming International, domestic, t20 leagues, and all major ICC events held by Pakistan.

Moreover, Geo Super and Ten Sports owned the TV media rights for the Pakistan Super League 2022 (PSL 7) as viewers will be able to watch the live coverage of Pakistan Super League Matches on television screens.

Pakistan Super League’s official page to provide the free live coverage of PSL 2022 matches on social platforms “Facebook” and “YouTube Channel”. Besides, Daraz App, the leading E-commerce site in Pakistan exclusively live telecast the PSL – Pakistan Super League 2022 season 7 matches online.

Concerning the OTT (over-the-top) digital platforms, Tapmad, MJunoonTV, Jazz TV, and Zalmi TV obtained digital media rights in Pakistan. Tapmad to provide the PSL T20 League season 7 (PSL 2022) tournament matches in MENA Countries – Algeria; Bahrain; Egypt; Iran; Iraq; Israel; Jordan; Kuwait; Lebanon; Libya; Mauritania; Morocco; Oman; Palestine; Qatar; Saudi Arabia; Sudan; Syria; Tunisia; the United Arab Emirates; and Yemen.

BSports Pakistan, the rebranded version of Cricketgateway.pk is as always the official broadcaster partner of the HBL Pakistan Super League. Viewers can watch PSL 2022 matches on BSports Pakistan official Website as well as on YouTube Channel.

In Bangladesh, Gazi TV (GTV) and Maasranga Television are the official broadcaster for the HBL PSL Season 7, also known as PSL 2022. Concerning digital OTT rights, Toffee and Rabbitholebd Sports Channel provide digital coverage for all Bangladeshi cricket fans.

Channel Eye (SLRC) owned the television rights from Pakistan Cricket Board for the 2022 Pakistan Super League to provide all matches coverage in Sri Lanka; cricket fans can watch PSL 7 matches on Dialog TV and Peo TV in Sri Lanka.

Cricket viewers residing in the United States can watch the HBL PSL 2022 tournament matches on Willow TV. The American Sports TV Channel is the official broadcasting partner for the HBL PSL Season 7 scheduled to commence from January 27 – February 27, 2022.

SuperSport and Pakistan Cricket Board signed an agreement for telecasting all Pakistan Cricket Team matches including their franchise twenty20 leagues in Sub Saharan Africa and its nearby regions. The list sub-Saharan Africa includes Angola, Burundi, Central African Republic, Chad, Congo, the Democratic Republic of, Congo, Republic of, Rwanda, Comoros, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritius, Seychelles, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Botswana, Eswatini (Formerly Known as Swaziland), Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cabo Verde, Cameroon, Cote d’Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Gambia, The, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Sao Tome, and Principe, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Togo.

In the United Arab Emirates, StarzPlay and Etisalat have the official rights to broadcast the HBL PSL 2022 matches live; in the Caribbean, Flow Sports and ESPN+ broadcast the league’s matches; and in Malaysia, Astro Cricket HD broadcasts the league’s matches live.

Sky Sports Cricket bagged the official broadcasting rights for the PSL – Pakistan Super League 2022 season 7 in the United Kingdom; all matches will be live-streamed on digital OTT platform Sky Go and Sky Now.

For the first time, Fox Sports secured the telecasting rights for the 7th Edition of the HBL PSL 2022 in Australia. Stay tuned to Fox Sports television to watch live cricket action of Pakistan Super League while for the digital coverage, cricket fans can watch it on Tapmad.

Hum Masala TV and ATN Cricket Plus to provide the live coverage of Pakistan Super League 2022 (PSL 7) in Canada. One of the biggest food television channels in Pakistan, Hum Masala owned the TV rights to on-air all matches of the PSL T20 League in Canada.
