Afghanistan
Having clinched a first-ever win over Pakistan in a T20 match, Rashid Khan will be delighted with the performance of his players. In his first match back after almost 5 months, Mohammad Nabi displayed outstanding all-round skills, picking up 2 wickets and scoring 38 runs to win the match.
Each bowler used by Rashid picked up at least one wicket, resulting in a very disciplined bowling performance from Afghanistan, which limited Pakistan to the fifth lowest T20 total in history as a result of their chokehold on the Pakistan batting. The batsmen will need to step up in this match, however, since none of the top or middle-order batsmen showed convincing performances except for Nabi.

In spite of the absence of top performers like Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, Mohammad Rizwan, and Fakhar Zaman, many expected Pakistan to struggle against Afghanistan, but no one expected them to surrender so easily.
The Pakistani batsmen were unable to cross the 20-run mark as they lost wickets with frightening consistency after opting to bat first. They scored just 92 runs for the loss of nine wickets on a tricky pitch which helped the bowlers.
The recently concluded PSL star Saim Ayub, who scored brilliantly, fell for just 17 runs, and other PSL stars, such as Abdullah Shafique, Mohammad Haris, and Azam Khan, also did not perform well. These batsmen demonstrate the dangers of producing flat and lifeless pitches for domestic tournaments, which heavily favor batsmen.
As Ihsanullah made his international T20 debut, he picked up two wickets in his first three deliveries, but those scores were not enough to sway the chase. It will be important that Pakistan performs better with the ball here than it did here since it has Naseem Shah, Ihsanullah, and Zaman Khan as pace players.
