PUBG 8.2 Update New Weapons and Features
PUBG will be coming with a new update 8.2 that brings a number of new features and new weapons and a few cosmetic changes to some existing machine guns. The changes will be part of the 8.2 updates, which will hit the test server on August 12, before being released for all PC gamers on August 19. It will be available on Xbox One, PS4, and Stadia on August 27.
Two new weapons coming to PUBG are the MG3 Submachine Gun and a Trap Grenade. Available as part of the Battlegrounds Care Packs, the MG3 includes a fast-firing Submachine Gun with two different rates of fire, 660 RPM and 990 RPM. Also, a bipod is available to help players keep track of their ammo. The MG3 offers a 7.62mm bullet requirement, holds 75 rounds, and has a muzzle velocity of 820 m / s. It also comes with a 1.25x damage multiplier when shooting vehicles.
As for the Decoy Grenade, it will be a new launch gear that mimics gunfire. Sanhok is designed to surprise your enemies and cover your movements as you make your move. This gear is only available in regular matches and will not be available in Ranked Mode.
Apart from these, the M416, SKS, and Kar98k have been remodeled from scratch to improve their visual quality. Besides the visual updates, the firing sounds of these weapons have also been reworked. Another notable change in Erangel’s existing quay in Novorepno and Ferry Terminal was the addition of four new docks including two. There are a number of other changes as well, and you can review the full changelog on the official PUBG website.
