Qualcomm Presented Snapdragon 750G Gaming Chipset
Qualcomm has officially introduced the sub-flagship Snapdragon 750G Gaming chipset – this platform will support for fifth-generation networks and gaming with a refresh rate of 120 fps. This chipset is the successor to the Snapdragon 730G with 5G support and a faster alternative to the Snapdragon 690 (ie this chipset is still lower in the Qualcomm lineup than the Snapdragon 765).
Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G is equipped with a 5G X52 modem, which is also used in the Snapdragon 765. Compared to the X51, which is installed in the Snapdragon 690, it has mmWave 5G support and a peak speed of 3.7 Gb / s, which is 1.2 Gb / s more than in X51. The company calls it a truly global 5G chipset with support for many SIM cards.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G includes 8 Kryo 570 cores running at 2.2 GHz, which gives 20 percent more power than the Snapdragon 730G. The camera can shoot 4K HDR10 and 4K HDR with a bokeh effect.
At the same time, the power of the Adreno 619 GPU is 10 percent higher than that of the Snapdragon 730G, and there is also support for 120 Hz at Full HD + resolution. The first smartphones on the Snapdragon 750G should be released later this year, and Xiaomi is expected to release this smartphone among the first.
