Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 Chipset defeated the Kirin 9000 in the Benchmark Results
The results of the first testing of the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 chipset in the Master Lu benchmark have appeared on the Internet. Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 Chipset defeated Kirin 9000 in the latest benchmark results.
This was reported by GSMArena with reference to the insider Digital Chat Station. The company has retained the 1 + 3 + 4 layout, and the main core runs at a clock speed of 2.84 – the same as the Snapdragon 865 and lower than the Snapdragon 865 Plus (the clock frequency of its main core was 3.09 GHz).
As you can see, the improved architecture has allowed the Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 to score significantly better than the Snapdragon 865 and Kirin 9000. However, Snapdragon has no advantage over Kirin when it comes to the graphics accelerator. Here the battle was between Mali-G78 MP24 and Qualcomm’s own Adreno graphics accelerator.
The overall result of the Master Lu benchmark showed that the Snapdragon 875 has an advantage in terms of processor, but do not forget that this chipset was tested on a platform with 12 GB of RAM. Instead, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro, which tested the Kirin 9000, has faster memory. Well in terms of overall results we have seen that the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 5G Chipset surpass the Huawei Kirin 9000 Chipset.
It should be noted that the difference between Kirin 9000 and Snapdragon 875 is not as noticeable as in the AnTuTu benchmark, but it is important to remember that these are complex benchmarks that test not only the power of the hardware solution but also memory speed and software performance.
Ensuring that test results with the same platform may differ from manufacturer to manufacturer. Sometimes it can happen that one model will sell another, less powerful in terms of a hardware component, only because of the slower memory.
