Rashid Khan surpassed all the legends
Rashid Khan, Afghanistan’s leg-spinner, has always been a great bowler in the short format of cricket. Apart from the national team, the bowler has shown whirlwind in IPL, BPL, and Big Bash. Rashid Khan, who is currently playing in the Caribbean Premier League, has made a name for himself in the Caribbean Premier League as he surpassed all the legends by playing the fewest matches in international and domestic cricket and taking 300 wickets at the youngest age. He will play his first T20 match against Zimbabwe in the country’s jersey.
Since then, the bowler has been consistently performing in short version cricket. Rashid Khan has already taken a record 300 wickets in T20 cricket in the leg-spin. Rashid Khan, currently playing in the Caribbean Premier League, holds the record for playing the fewest matches in international and domestic cricket and at the youngest age.
He was 21 years and 335 days old when he took 300 wickets. Earlier, at the age of 29, West Indies spin all-rounder Sunil Narine entered the 300-run mark at the youngest age in T20 cricket. He also broke Malinga’s record of taking 300 wickets fast.
Sri Lankan fast bowler Lasith Malinga reached 300 in 222 matches. Rashid Khan played 213 matches there. In his short version of cricket, Rashid has taken 69 wickets in 46 matches for Afghanistan. Sunrisers Hyderabad has taken 55 wickets in 46 matches in the IPL.
