Xiaomi announced the next smartphone of the Redmi Note 12 series in China, namely the Redmi Note 12T Pro model. The device is the successor to last year’s Redmi Note 11T Pro and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra chipset that debuted in the Xiaomi Civi 3 last week.
Redmi Note 12T Pro is equipped with a 6.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2460 x 1080 and a refresh rate of 144 Hz (the level not even of flagships, but of gaming smartphones) with a fast charging support of 67W.
On the back, there is a 64-megapixel camera, a wide-angle module with an 8-megapixel sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor.
The smartphone is equipped with LPDDR5 RAM of up to 12 GB and UFS 3.1 storage with a capacity of 512 GB, a 5,080 mAh battery with 67 W fast charging.
The model also has stereo speakers, an IR port for controlling household appliances, a 16-megapixel front-facing camera, an NFC chip for contactless payments, USB-C and 3.5 mm connectors, and a side scanner.
Redmi Note 12T Pro will be offered in black, white, and blue colors. In addition, versions with 8/128, 8/256, 12/256 and 12/512 GB of memory will be available. The most affordable modification is estimated at $225 in China.
