Shahriar Butt Becomes First Batsmen to Score Century at no 6 in T20 History

The game is only 20 overs. It is not possible to divide a single batsman by 2 overs. It is a historical event to go down to the 6th position and score a century! Belgium is a strong country in football. However, cricket is completely unknown in the country. However, Shahriar Butt, a cricketer of Pakistani descent from that country, becomes the first batsmen to score a century at no 6 in T20 History. The Belgian cricketer has made history by scoring a century in the 8th position in T20 cricket!

A few days ago, the ICC gave T20 status to all countries. Shahriar scored an explosive century in the tri-nation T20 series against Belgium, the Czech Republic, and host Luxembourg on Saturday (August 29th).

When Shahriar was batting, his team was losing 4 wickets for 41 runs in 6 overs. Then he played an unbeaten inning of 125 runs off 50 balls. He hit 9 boundaries along with 11 boundaries. Shahriar Butt, 36, was born in Pakistan. He is now the captain of Belgium.

Billings, England’s middle-order batsman, was the previous highest at number six. He scored 7 off 48 balls against the West Indies in the Caribbean last year.
