Sony Launches a new PlayStation App for Android and iOS

Sony has introduced a new PlayStation app that acts as a companion for the owner of a PlayStation console and a smartphone-based on Android or iOS. According to Sony, the updated application should improve the gaming experience of the player. It can be downloaded for free from the App Store and Google Play for iPhone and Android smartphones, respectively. The application replaces the previous PS App and PS Messages.

The updated app includes a number of innovations, including voice chat, built-in access to the PlayStation Store, and an updated design. On the home screen, users can now see games that friends have played or have recently played, as well as a list of achievements. The PS Messages app has been integrated into the PlayStation app, so you no longer need to switch between the two apps.

Users can create groups of up to 15 participants to communicate in voice chat. thanks to the built-in access to the PS Store, you can buy games and install them remotely on PS4 or PS5. After the release of the new generation PlayStation 5 console, users will be able to run games remotely, manage console memory and log in to their PS5 account through the PlayStation app.
