Sony continues to update its line of smartphones – today the company introduced the Xperia 5 II. It is cheaper than its predecessor and received a display with a high refresh rate of 120 Hz. The dimensions of the device are 158 × 68 × 8 mm, and weight – 163 g.

Xperia 5 II is a phone with a high screen-to-body ratio of 21: 9 and a relatively small size of 6.1 inches. It also has fairly standard flagship features for 2020: a Snapdragon 865 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of built-in flash memory, a 4,000mAh battery, and a 120Hz refresh rate display.
Sony has also added two stereo speakers and a traditional headphone jack, which is now officially classified as an endangered species. The battery capacity is 3860 mAh. No wireless charging.

The developers have also added to the device functions to optimize the performance of the processor to improve the quality of gameplay. You can set and lock the appropriate screen refresh rate, motion blur, and touch response speed. What’s more, the Xperia 5 II has a power management feature – it allows you to set the phone to power directly from the USB-C cable without charging the battery. This significantly reduces heating.
