Taxi Chaos Official Trailer and Release Date, Spiritual Successor of Crazy Taxi
Nostalgia is a great thing. Especially for game developers who like the fact that players are attached to certain productions. Will it be the same with the spiritual heir to the legendary Crazy Taxi game, Taxi Chaos? Taxi Chaos has revealed the official trailer and release date of the game, a sequel to Crazy Taxi. Taxi Chaos strongly refers to the legendary game from Sega, i.e. Crazy Taxi.
Sega is partially involved in the project. We will play the role of a taxi driver at the beginning of the year. The game will be released on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Crazy Taxi was one of those games that didn’t get massive success, but gamers remember the series fondly. The legendary game from Sega has its spiritual heir in the form of Taxi Chaos, for which Team6 Game Studios is responsible.
Crazy Taxi is a series of games in which the player’s task is to perform the profession of a taxi driver. While in the real world a taxi passenger expects comfort and safe arrival at their destination, crazy taxi customers simply want to get to their destination as quickly as possible. Otherwise, they’ll just get out of the car and we’ll never see them again (in theory, because in practice the game only had a few human models in the game).
Crazy Taxi is one of the legendary games from Sega. The first game in the series premiered in 1999 on arcade machines, the official Sega console, i.e. Dreamcast and PlayStation 2 (at the time of the console release from Sony). The game was simple, intuitive, and extremely fun to play.
Taxi Chaos a spiritual heir of Crazy Taxi Release Date
Nintendo Life announced that Taxi Chaos will premiere on February 23, 2021, and Team6 Game Studios is responsible for the game. Taxi Chaos will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on the release date.
Little is known about the game itself. The producer of Taxi Chaos says the game is a fresh and modern take on the classic “taxi” games. The player’s task will be to deliver passengers from point A to point B as quickly as possible. When mentioning the old productions of this type, we can assume that the player will receive bonuses for the result for a short transport time, collision-free driving, and various collectibles that will be scattered around the map.
Even Sega, the creator of the original Crazy Taxi series, was involved in the project. The Japanese manufacturer will distribute the title on the Japanese and Asian markets. In Europe, Mindscape will be responsible for the game and GS2 Games will distribute the game on the American market.
