Three New Apple iPhone Batteries Approved
Three new Apple iPhone batteries have been approved. It is not known on which iPhone phone the batteries will be used. As of September approaches, leaks and reports about the new iPhone 12 series began to appear online. After details on the phone’s display panels, details about the battery have now appeared.
In the latest update, three new Apple iPhone batteries were approved by the Korean Industrial Technology Laboratory (KTL), passing safety tests. Three certified batteries in Korea have model numbers A2471, A2431 and A2466.
As for the battery capacity, the A2471 has a capacity of 2,227mAh, while the A2431 offers a capacity of 2,775mAh. The A2466 has a 3.697mAh capacity and is the highest equipped battery among the three.
The certificate list also shows that the battery is manufactured by the Guangdong Desai Group, and the largest A2466 uses an L-type battery. However, it is not known which battery will be used on which iPhone model.
It is remarkable that the battery capacity of these new models is lower than the capacity of most models in the iPhone 11 series. The iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max were running on 3,110mAh, 3,190mAh and 3,500mAh batteries respectively.
It is reported that all iPhone 12 models released this year will come with an OLED display panel that completely abandons the LCD panels. This time there may be four model series, including iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Max, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
According to reports, the standard iPhone 12 will have a 5.4-inch screen and a 6.1-inch screen on the Max and Pro models. The top model in the shape of the iPhone 12 Pro Max is reported to have a 6.7-inch screen.
