Twitter is Testing Voice Messages

Twitter is Testing its new Voice Messages Feature

Recently, Twitter has the opportunity to post tweets in the form of voice messages. On Wednesday, the company told The Verge that it was testing a new feature that would allow users to send voice messages to each other.

“We know that people need more opportunities to express themselves in conversations, both publicly and privately,” Alex Ackerman-Greenberg, a Twitter spokesman, said in a 20-second voice message to The Verge.

The Verge also published a screenshot of the voice messaging interface. The developers have only added a play/pause button, and the sender’s avatar pulsates during message playback. There is also an option to help report that someone is abusing voice messages.

Although voice messaging is something relatively new to Twitter, this feature has long been introduced in many other applications. Facebook, for example, allows you to send them to Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp.
