Xiaomi Mi 11 becomes the first Chinese Smartphone with Snapdragon 875 Chipset
Samsung is expected to be the first in the world to release a flagship smartphone with a Snapdragon 875 chipset, and now it has become known that Xiaomi MI 11 will be the first Chinese smartphone with Snapdragon 875 Chipset.
This was reported by Gizchina with reference to an insider. It is also known that the Snapdragon 875 will be exclusive to Xiaomi among other Chinese manufacturers for some time, and this is expected, given the company’s close cooperation with Qualcomm.
We also know that the Xiaomi Mi 11 will be exclusive to the Chinese market for some time, as has been the case with all of the company’s flagship smartphones recently. Most likely, the model will be presented in December this year and will be available on the European market in January or February.

It will be recalled that Qualcomm is due to present its flagship Snapdragon 875 chipset on December 1. It is already known that the company sent invitations to accredited journalists for the presentation. It is worth mentioning that last year the flagship Snapdragon 865 was also presented in December.
It is unknown at this time what the configuration of the new flagship Qualcomm processor will be, but it is expected that it will include one flagship Cortex-X1 core (it will debut in the Snapdragon 875), three productive Cortex-A78 cores and four energy-efficient Cortex-A55 cores.
It is also possible to announce the Snapdragon 875G together with the Snapdragon 875. Most likely, the Snapdragon 875G will be analogous to the Plus versions of the previous two generations of Snapdragon (maximum CPU and GPU frequencies will be higher), but no smartphone is known to run on this platform. Also, both platforms must have a built-in 5G modem by default, not optionally, as was the case in the previous two generations.
