Jonny Bairstow Ruled Out of T20 World Cup 2022 Due to Leg Injury

Jonny Bairstow, an aggressive batsman for England, has been ruled out of the third Test match against South Africa and the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022. This announcement was made just a few hours after the England World Cup roster was revealed.

According to a statement released by the England Cricket Association, he sustained a leg injury in an accident while playing golf in Leeds today (2). Next week, he will see a specialist for more testing on the injuries.

Ben Duckett has replaced Bairstow in the England Test team for the upcoming third match against South Africa, which is set to begin on August 8. The man who will replace Bairstow in England’s World Cup 2020 roster will be confirmed at a later date.
