Spider-man Into the Spider-Verse 2 Release Date | Spider-man A New Universe
A few days ago, the second anniversary of the theatrical release of “Spider-Man into the Spider-verse 2: A New Universe”, the Sony Pictures animated film centred on Miles Morales, which managed to win the Oscar for Best Picture at that year’s gala. Given its success, it’s no surprise that a sequel is already underway that will expand the multiverse even further, and it looks like we’ll have the key pieces that made the first movie very special.
In a thread thanking the fans for how they have grown fond of the film, composer Daniel Pemberton concluded by saying “… see you in 2022 for the next adventure”. Pemberton was in charge of making the soundtrack of the first instalment and with that comment, he confirms that he will return for the sequel, whose premiere is currently set for April 8, 2022.

While the film combined current music with Pemberton’s specially written soundtrack, his work was key to achieving the end result. The production of the so far titled “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2” has been underway since June of this year. Spiderman a new Universe is set to premiere in April 2022.
