Pakistan to host the sixteenth edition of the Cricket Asia Cup. Asia Cup 2023 is going to be an ODI-based tournament that includes 12 Matches; two groups A & B followed by Super 4 Stage Matches will be played during the tournament. The Two top teams based on Points will qualify to play the Final match of the tournament.

Two groups will feature three teams each as a total of six teams Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, and Qualifier will play in the tournament. The top two teams from each group will proceed to the Super 4 Knock-out stage where the top two teams will be competing for the Final of the Asia Cup.
